This Case is Money May 04, 2010 After learning this case had been discontinued, I bought two on Amazon. It is a great way to holster your iPhone on your hip. It's sleek and it holds your phone just snug enough to where it won't fall out yet easy enough to unholster your phone with ease. The belt clip is rock solid as well ... It's not one of those cumbersome swivel clips. This one is thin and very secure. All in all ... A great and simple case.
Too tight for iPhon Dec 05, 2009 This case is too tight for iPhone and need to put a lot of effort just slip in and pull out the phone from this case. I stopped using it after a day!
Belkin Slim-Fit Case for iPhone Sep 16, 2009 The case is overall a good case for the price you pay, however the belt clip does not rotate causing the case to have a permanent bend when placed on the belt and the phone is removed (designed for slim persons). The mesh fabric at the bottom of the case makes it easy for removal of the phone.
Exactly the case I was looking for Jun 14, 2009 This case is not perfect, but I give it 5 stars because it's a very useful design, and there are very few manufacturers offering it (I have yet to find another).
With this case you can keep the phone in your front jean pocket, fastening the clip to your pocket lining. This protects the phone while giving you quick access to it, since you don't have to dig in your pocket to fish it out. You can easily pull your phone out while sitting down too, which is a big plus if you keep your phone in your pocket and know what a pain that can be. It also worked alright for clipping to a belt. For me this has been a great case, and my iPhone has been kept safe from damage for over a year.
A few caveats:
- I don't recommend this case if you drop your phone a lot. You will be pulling the phone out of the case to use it.
- The case starts off too tight on iPhone 3g, but will loosen up with time.
- After about a year the case became a bit too loose. At this point the phone could slide out if not careful.
Still, I can't complain because the price is right, and I haven't found anyone making a better version using this case design.
Belkin iphone case May 02, 2009 The case firmly attach to my waist and is easy to get the phone. I like it.
