Seller sent Taipan not Vipyr Oct 23, 2009 I ordered the Vyper M2 for my previous generation 15" Macbook Pro. What came in the package today is the Taipan version of the laptop sleeve for Macbook Pros. I ordered the Vyper to match my Booq Vyper briefcase. But, looking at the Taipan, it seems like a perfectly acceptable substitute. And, as far as I can tell, Booq has replaced the Vyper sleeves with the Taipan versions. So, if you really need the Vyper, beware this vendor. But if you will accept the Taipan (as I did), this vendor shipped promptly.
Amazing. Way better than Incase Sleeve. Feb 07, 2009 Purchased this sleeve after a bad experience with an Incase Nylon sleeve. The Incase sleeve caused scratches to my Macbook Pro lid and it simply felt awkward to slip in the laptop via one opening with zippers.
Needless to say, the Vyper is the opposite and perfect. This case zips entirely around the laptop so you don't have to worry about the zipper creating any scratches. The ballistic nylon is very strong, much better protection than any nylon or neoprene case. Interior is soft padding.
I throw this sleeve into a messenger bag and I have full protection. I'm always carrying things along with my Macbook Pro so the fact this case has no handle or shoulder strap is a non issue.
Just a heads up, this model is for the previous Macbook Pro model (all silver), not the unibody model with black keys. If you want that sleeve, it's the "M3" model.
Booq is a great brand and this is the perfect companion to you Macbook Pro.
great for Macs Dec 01, 2008 After buying a Mac, a friend told me I had to look into getting a Booq for it. I had no idea what she meant, but soon found out. I really thought I wanted one of those softer, more fabric-like cases, but after having the booq for over a month now I love it! It is very portable with my mac. I don't have to put my Mac into a sleeve every time I want to throw it into my bookbag because it instead always sits "halfway" in the booq and all I need to do is close the mac and the close the "lid" of the booq, zip up and go. It's very convenient and I love the protection I feel that the booq provides. It's not slippery at all and it's slightly heavy-duty feel provides strength and durability.

The Perfect MacBook Pro Cover Aug 08, 2008 This is the best slipcase that I have seen for the MBP. It is affordable when you feel how tight and perfectly molded the case fits over the computer. The ridges on either side take most of the abuse and the ballistic nylon case takes all that you can throw at it and the high density foam liner keeps the computer safe from bumps.
I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to protect their investment on the move.

Excellent case Jan 02, 2008 The case is very well built, sturdy construction. My only gripe is that it does not come with a handle. Any sort of small strap would have worked. But still great for carrying your laptop around quickly.
I wouldn't recommend it as a standalone case. It works better as an accompaniment to a larger laptop case.
