This comes with two ways to attach the screen to your mac, one if using double-sided vinyl tape, and the other is to use plastic "hang-tabs".
Well the hang tabs don't actually fit properly on the aluminum macbook this is advertised for (see picture of product), and you have to stick them not to the alumium frame of the screen, but on the black border of the screen. They were obviously not designed for this, in fact the manual shows them being used on a generic desktop LCD monitor, NOT a macbook. When I attached them and tried to slide in the film they all fell off. As they attach with glue this means I can't attach it that way anymore.
Okay, so on to the double-sided tape. It works great for holding the screen in place, except that you can clearly see the tape through the screen, and it gives a nice, distorting rainbow colored patch in each corner of your screen. This is clearly visible up to about 3-4 feet away. The illustrations here too show a generic desktop LCD.
The tape can't been seen from the distance you'd usually be viewing a desktop monitor from, but it looks incredibly horrible on my macbook's screen.
In summary, this is a great product if you have a 13.3" desktop monitor that you want to stop people from viewing, but if you want to use it on a macbook as advertised you could probably do better with saran wrap and duct tape. At least it comes with a microfiber cloth, which seems to be the only thing I'm going to be able to use out of this product.

I should have trusted all the less than stellar reviews of this product.
First, the privacy screen seems very inferior to the 3M products: the screen is much coarser, and the apparent screen resolution is like my old IBM VGA screen. The display becomes that pixelated.
Next, the screen is entirely too large for the MBA screen. I will try to cut it down to size with a paper cutter. I hope I won't ruin it.
I would recommend measuring your laptop screen, and buying the 3M product instead, so you're guaranteed a good fit.

I love it, I received it today and it was on my 13.3" MacBook Pro. It fitted perfectly. This is what I was looking for. I'm a student and I hated when I caught people looking onto my screen. Fear no more lol.

This product is really good it will protect you from spying eyes coming from left and right but not to good with over the top views. On a plane they may still be able to see what you are working on but it wont be clear.

Fits perfectly on the 13" MacBook Air. Comes with double sided tape that goes around the screen and is pretty much invisible when you put the screen on. There is a little slot on the screen that goes around the camera. You might be able to see a little bit of the screen when the brightness is on 100% but still not enough that someone would be able to see what you're typing. Definitely worth your money.
