Great general-purpose PC Speakerphone for VoIP Dec 12, 2008
By Patrick French

Bought this off amazon. Very happy with this speakerphone.
Plugged it in on my Windows XP box and it was immediately recognized as a new microphone + speaker. I did not need to install any of the software that comes with it.
I've used this with Skype, Gizmo5, and GoogleTalk with no problems. Echo cancellation is very good on this and it has a switch on the side where you can use it as a regular handset.
I've called this handset from Fring and Truphone off my ipod touch.
I am leaving this plugged in on the family computer and will use it to call home when I am on international travel.

Great conferencing tool for small businesses May 31, 2008
By Edward Lucero When you're a small business, you don't want to shell out $400 for a conference station 3 people will be using once a month. This is a great solution. I travel with it and communicate back with the team using Skype. Compact, easy to store, reliable, great voice quality and echo cancelation. Plus: mac compatible.

Great speakerphone/phone for the price Nov 02, 2010

Great product for the price. I had to download the software, but other people have used it on windows base computers without the need to download the software. easy to use, sound cancellation/quality very good for the price. Good for conference calls with in a small room/group. I was going to go back and get a couple more for the office, but noticed the price has gone up. great for small office or office on-the-go.

Nice phone with reasonable features Oct 04, 2010
By Dominoz The plastic body of the phone was a bit low quality than I expected from the photos, however, still better than those cheap phones.
The sound quality is OK for both handset and speakerphone. Only one thing I would miss is more control feature for skype such as numberpads and direction keys. At the second thought, direct control with handset wouldn't be frequently used since this headset needs to be plugged to a computer and I would use computer keyboard rather than headset.
All in all, this is good for the value of money and you would be satisfied.

Please save your money, don't get this! Jun 29, 2011
By Carito I read mixed reviews on this, and since I think many of the people who write bad reviews are just OCD I ended up rolling the dice and buying it, but this is really a bad piece of equipment.
I bought it because I have a skype account that I use on a daily basis and I was going to South America for three months, as soon as I got it out of the box I tried and called from my home network (30.0 Mbps) at different times of the day to different people and they all agreed that the sound quality was way better if I just used my laptop's microphone and speakers. I ended up using a regular logitech headset.
I'm an EE so I know what I'm doing, besides the installation is just very straight-forward, this is just not a good equipment.
I thought of returning and I put it on the envelope it came in but then I forgot and left for my 3 months trip so by the time I came back I thought it was too late to return. It just ended up going to the trash can.
