DO NOT BUY! May 10, 2010 This device was DOA when I pulled it out of the package. I spoke with Jabra Support, and THIS DEVICE WAS DISCONTINUED BY JABRA 2 YEARS AGO!!! There is no support; there is no repair; there is no replacement by Jabra. The description of the device does not say "discontinued" anywhere. I think this is unfair for the reseller to hide this fact from the purchaser, bordering on fraudulence. Do not buy this product.

These used to work - but likely won't anymore Feb 23, 2010 I've used several of these over the years along with an office phone with 2.5mm headset jack. When it originally came out, it worked great. The problem is that these were discontinued several years ago now, and the batteries are dying. Even if you get a sealed, brand-new one (like I did), it may not take a charge, or may only for a couple days and die. Generally in this case you'll see the red light that indicates charging light up when you plug it in, and it will shut off almost immediately. Sure sign of a dead internal battery. Sadly, rechargeable batteries in this form factor cannot be bought (it's an ATL-501235, 3.7V/150mAh battery), and they're rather intricately wired inside the unit. Once the battery dies, it's junk.
This is all a shame, as when the batteries were new and fresh, this unit worked excellently. Reasonable range (10-30 feet), minor static, and a simple way to add Bluetooth to many devices that otherwise would never have it. Apparently this was a fleeting market, as both Jabra and Cardo abandoned the concept soon after, and now everything has Bluetooth built-in. And if it doesn't... well, tough luck, aparrently.

Horrible Oct 30, 2009 It did not work. I sent it back, got a new one, and the new one did not work. They emailed me saying they would refund all the money and they discontinued the item. No other contact was made.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones Oct 12, 2009 so far i havent had any trouble with this adapter. i use it to connect a Plantronics Explorer 230 headset to my xbox 360, it works as well as i could hope it could work. i havent tried it on a phone yet because i have an LG 10000 Voyager which as some of you know is already bluetooth ready. if i do how ever use this on a phone i'll update this review and post my thoughts on that issue.
i love this little adapter, i got it for an excellent price elsewhere low enough so that even if it didnt work i wouldnt even bother returning it.
no problems charging
no problems pairing
no problems hearing people or them hearing me
minimal static (i attribute that to the fact i'm not using a jabra headset)
it comes with a little velcro sticky pad so you can stick it to your device (in my case the battery pack on my controller)
Won't charge after 4 months Jun 27, 2009 An exciting product that turned out to be totally disappointing, as did the vendor. Stopped taking a charge after four months, and the seller will not respond to emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!
