My spouse's laptop did not have a Memory Stick reader and I wanted to buy her a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1/B 10MP "Exmor R" CMOS Digital Camera with 5x Optical Steady Shot Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-inch LCD (Black). This reader is small enough to fit into the case for the camera and lets you use it on any computer rather than being limited to ones with a card reader. Cheap too.

I use this device for my PSP memory stick pro duo.
Definitely what I needed to load data from my PC to the PSP.
I would definitely recommend this device for such a purpose.

Doesn't work with a Mac unless it is plugged in to a powered hub. 3 Macs, iMac, eMac and MacBook all don't work with this unless it goes through a powered hub. Kind of a waste.
Perfect for my needs Aug 17, 2009
I needed a basic MS reader for my laptop as I have one inbuilt on my desktop. This one fits the bill perfectly as I never connect my camera to the computer. The cap is flimsy and gets off easily, but actually it is not needed. I use my other SD card reader without cap all the time and nothing happens. So I dropped off the cap as soon as I got it and kept it in my small camera pouch. It works perfectly every time. The speed is also decent - better than my inbuilt old desktop model (USB1), as this connects through USB2.

Small enough to fit in the small pocket on my camera case, but can read 2 differect cards!
