Unsafe and unusable Apr 19, 2010
By Heidi The Firefly Fan

I bought this for use during my deployment in Kuwait. I needed the large three prong. It doesn't fit into the receptacles here and, more importantly, after I went through fire marshall training, I found out the plastic prong is the ground and is unsafe. These are forbidden for use on military installations in Kuwait. I bought four - two in this color and two in the black - and I can't use any of them.

I was traveling through Dubai and East Africa with this neat little item and at one of the hotels, it just stopped working. I was disappointed.

Useful All-In-One Adaptor Feb 15, 2011
By KC I was looking for an adaptor that could also allow foreign plugs to adapt to U.S. outlets and I think this was the only one I found. I also liked the all-in-one design, which makes it easier to pack for traveling.

Buy more fuses while on travel Jan 04, 2011
By Frederick, MD Resident Bought two, one worked for general application until fuse blew. Went to use second adapter and the fuse was already blown (bummer!). Product works for general application, like a lamp, cell phone charger. Anything more than that may blow the fuse but at least it won't harm your electrical devices. Would recommend having back-up fuses. Traveled to Czech Republic, not a lot of places to get fuses there. :)
