Almost good May 27, 2010
I was hoping that it would be better than the Apple brand privacy screen. However, it is not. At half the cost, it wasn't half as good. I would spring for the full price next time and go with the apple brand. Good attempt, but not as good as the apple brand.

the Privacy protection screen is so far good. i tried to stick it as mentioned but there were a lot of Air bubbles !!!
average product but it has one good thing comparing to other Privacy products which is the screen protector does not affect the Iphone touch handling. almost the same touch handling before using the protector.

Well i saw a very bad review for this item before i bought it, but i decided to buy it anyways and give it a try, cause i wanted some privacy while i was chatting or sending e mails for my iphone; and cause i have the 1st gen iphone i didnt have lots of options for a good price. When i received it, it was well packed and came with all the instructions needed to make a perfect install.
The protection film is a little bit hard (but most of them are like that) but that doesnt affect the sinsitivity of the fingers, so you can swap from one page to another one as easily as you wouldnt have anything install. The protection works great and you dont feel that your iphone has a protective fill added. Very easy to clean too.
You loose a some brightness on your screen but you just need to give more brightness to your iphone on your settings

I bought this for my iPhone a few days ago, and I already can't stand it. I took it off and just threw it away.
Installation - not easy. It's hard to line it up. The backing peels off at the bottom, and it was MUCH easier to install when peeling from the top.
Functionality - it does protect the screen like it should. It's about a third to half a millimeter thick. The privacy function works somewhat, but it darkens the screen too much for my liking.
Now, here's where the real problems are: It affects the touch screen quite a bit. You have to use some pressure to get the touch screen to work - not simply tapping it gently. This is a real problem for me - it's like switching back to a Palm device from my iPhone. Which is not a good thing.
So I just threw it away. Do not buy this.
