The clip is sturdy, the fit is perfect, and a light tug on the open clasp lifts your phone out of the case, just enough for easy retrieval. For $13, it's the best friend an iPhone user ever had.

i-phone slim design leather case Feb 06, 2010

There are hundreds of similar products, but this is the best of the best. The design and look is superior than anything else available. This company produces innovative designs that are far better than the Chinese fake leather copycats. It is the smallest case that is actually made of leather. The texture of the leather eliminates fingerprints, belt clip adjusts, felt lining and a ultra thin design. My i-phone is protected by invisibleshield and fits easily in this case. The case does not provide protection to the i-phone if dropped onto the top edge of the case. But, the design allows for earphones to be used while i-phone is in the case and keeps the design of the case very slim. There is not a finger hole in the bottom of the case to help with i-phone removal; however, the leather magnetic tab that goes over the top of the case doubles as a pull tab to lift the i-phone out. Very smart design and great value. Because it is so precisely fitted to the i-phone, it may not accommodate bulky plastic cases. Take a look at Elago's website and view other well designed items. I bought the small aluminum stand for the i-phone to make is easier to view incoming calls. Great design as well.

I usually don't go back to comment or review a product after purchase, but for this case I just had to from how satisfied I am, the shipping was really fast as stated, came in a very nice packaging, along with a handbook with more iphone products sold through elago design. This really is one of the best belt clip cases for the iphone, I have owned a 2g and currently a 3gs, went through 4 other cases including the incase from apple but nothing tops this. The material is very strong and I believe it'll last a while before I end up purchasing another one. Strongly recommended.
