Fitting, but for a purpose Feb 23, 2010 Bought this as a secret santa gift for my niece who wanted a white OR pink iPhone pouch. Wala, the 2-in-one color aint bad! After reading reviews, it is indeed, tight..but for purpose. You wouldn't want an iPhone slipping out and shattering to the ground, would ya? That would defeat its purpose. Better having the pouch slip and fall WITH the phone rather than OUT instead. So far, she loves it and is a constant companion during family get-togethers. Just follow the advice of bending it initially at the sides to loosen it up a bit.
Kept iphone tight Dec 20, 2009 Bummed I lost it, it kept the phone nice and tight, and I never feared dropping because it was so tight inside. You can't hear it ring so that makes it impossible to hear, you have ti turn your phone upside down to hear it ring.
Served its Purpose May 03, 2009 I bought this a while back, sorry for the late review. This case served its purpose for a few months. Didn't get too dirty, I guess b/c I only kept it in my purse. But one day it fell out of my purse, it protected my precious iPhone 3G but the case itself busted at the seams, so I'm left with purchasing another one. I haven't decided yet but I think I'm going with Sena Slim Case for iPhone 3G next.
Great case! Mar 13, 2009 I ordered this case based on the price and the look of it. I just received it, and it is everything that the ad says it will be. It is very tight at first, which I had read in some other reviews, but you have to work in the outside edges by bending them a little before putting the phone in it. Once you break in the sides of the case, the phone fits perfectly and I have no problem with the sound button at all. Great product, I would recommend it, just remember to break in the sides by bending them. Just like any leather product, you usually have to break it in before it gets to that perfect fit.

Does not fit Dec 21, 2008 On the white version of this phone, a reviewer seemed to be very happy with this case for their iPhone 3G. I don't know what is different but it definitely does not fit mine. It is so tight that I couldn't get it out of the case. I had to use a kitchen can gripper to get it out of the case!! I don't know if it will loosen up after time, but I am not going to put it in there again.
I purchased the iPhone slim case by Elago (WHICH I LOVE). What is interesting is that on the back of the package the slim case says that it is for the iphone 3G.
The Elago Slim Glide Leather Case does not indicate on the packaging that it is made for the iphone 3G.
I would think that Elago would have indicated that it is for the iPhone, if it really is.
